embedded world 2027 takes place from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 March 2027 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, Messezentrum 1, 90471 Nuremberg. Opening hours are 09:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Thursday. In 2026 the organiser reported around 36,000 visitors from almost 90 countries. The 2027 floor plan page lists hardware, systems and services in Halls 1, 2, 3, 3A, 4A and 5, and electronic displays in Halls 1 and 3. Embedded vision and the start-up programme are in Hall 2, M2M in Hall 3, IC and IP design in Hall 4, and safety and security in Hall 5, with conferences in NCC Ost.
Hall plan and getting there
The organiser's floor plan page links the 2027 technical floor plans, a floor plan PDF and a hall legend. Builders should read the legend, because the Special Conditions say hall plans and legends can lower the maximum heights.
From Nuremberg main station, the U1 towards Langwasser Süd reaches the Messe stop in about eight minutes. From the airport, take the U2 towards Röthenbach to the main station and change to the U1; a taxi takes about 25 minutes. By car, set the navigation to Karl-Schönleben-Strasse or "Sonderziel Messe"; the A3, A6, A9 and A73 motorways connect quickly.
Assembly, dismantling and passes
Under the organiser's Special Conditions for 2027, assembly runs from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 March, 07:00 to 24:00, and on Monday 15 March from 07:00 to 20:00. Early set-up is approved only to a very limited extent: it needs a stand of at least 50 m² and approval in text form from the event team. The organiser may reassign areas where assembly has not begun by 15:00 on the last assembly day. Dismantling runs on Thursday 18 March from 17:00 to 24:00, Friday 19 March from 07:00 to 24:00 and Saturday 20 March from 07:00 to 19:00, by which time stand spaces must be completely cleared. Hall access during both periods needs special passes.
Rules that shape your design
The maximum height for stand construction and customer installations is 5.80 metres from the hall floor, and two-storey stands are not permitted.

With no second level allowed, the design effort goes into the single floor: layout, a clean ceiling line below 5.80 metres, lighting and demo zones. With assembly slots ending at 20:00 on Monday 15 March, it helps that one company makes the stand in its own 6,000 m² facility and installs it with its own crews.
