Who Exhibits Here?

Deutsche Messe describes LIGNA as the world's leading trade fair for woodworking and wood-processing equipment. The 2025 edition reported 1,433 exhibitors from 49 countries and around 78,000 visitors from 156 countries (56% international), across roughly 114,078 m² in ten halls, two pavilions and an outdoor area, according to the organiser.

How to Design Your Booth for LIGNA 2027

From 2027, LIGNA moves to Monday-to-Friday dates (previously built around the Ascension Day holiday week) to spread visitor traffic evenly across all five days, per Deutsche Messe's own announcement. The organiser's Exhibitor Service Center (+49 511 89-30000, Information Centre IC) handles technical and stand-construction queries; published build-up/dismantling dates and hall-specific technical guidelines for the 2027 edition were not yet available on the organiser's site at the time of this review — confirm directly before design sign-off.

Preguntas frecuentes

When is LIGNA 2027?

LIGNA 2027 runs from 10 to 14 May 2027 in Hannover. Deutsche Messe moved the fair to this Monday-Friday slot from 2027 onward, away from its previous Ascension Day timing, to even out visitor attendance across the week.

Why did LIGNA's dates change for 2027?

According to Deutsche Messe, the previous late-May dates around Ascension Day (a public holiday) saw many visitors, especially from the skilled trades, treat the following bridge day as a long weekend rather than attending the full fair. Moving to 10-14 May 2027 also lines up better with interzum in Cologne for international visitors touring both shows.

How big was LIGNA 2025?

According to Deutsche Messe, LIGNA 2025 had 1,433 exhibitors from 49 countries and about 78,000 visitors from 156 countries, with 56% of visitors from abroad, across roughly 114,078 m².
